so whilst in the middle of a redesign .. i ve been watching, reading and genral digesting alot of information

and while most of it makes little or no sense ...
there is a lot of stuff that seems to be stick in my stacks of unless crap mind

re reading stuff on Jet engine construction
watching a set of documentries called naturetec
and thinking about the nature of flight
getting through a studio gibli marathron
and thinking about nausica's glider
and howls pacisfism and rubens' tubes
unrelated i know but all these things seem to fit togeather
like some grand example of way you find prime numbers relected in sound
there are great ideas burried in this mound of knowledge

Pushing Daisies,Eli Stone and Stargate Atlantis all shit can maybe SGA was getting a little stale but daisies just need a good kick in the arse and Eli stone while not quite netting huge ratings was performing soildly ...

The Flight of the Concords - imagine if the boosh was slightly less annoying and less surreal and the songs were more song like instead of free form dirty limmericks..and just surrpose that kiwi 's weren't shagin sheep all the time

Defiance is one of my favouite movies of the past 6 months

JUNO - lets skip the usual "heart felt story of teen pregenacny touched with subtle comdey" review nonsense long and short it bloody brillent it will renew your love of cinema again not like the other snore enducing oscar fare .. Atonement sucked ass ...

Jumper - okay lets make this perfectly clear.. this is a neat and tidy piece of science fiction.. nothing too taxing, your life will not be forever altered by watching this movie! althought it will proably enrich your afternoon but when you leave allow the idea to rumenate and stew in your mind it does raise some extenial questions
why should power always corupt?

I remain surrcisipises of the new on demand sevices touted by channal 4
and spectactualar pissed at the bbc iPlayer,

firstly 4 demanding payment for some programming in addition to advertisng venue in futher addition to the tax money that goes into channal four (yes channal four is publicly owned like the bbc it has a charcter) and after the humilantions of late namely Big Brother the you say we pay scandal and to a less extent the gordon ramsey thing TBH you kinda expect tv to fudge things else tv would be a boring as really life wait thats BB

i fail to see the increase in revenue 4OD will sercure them agienst the Torrents and Streams of alternate sites althought the streaming is the highest quailty the content of late has been neglactable to say the least most have been imports which are usually aviable for download weeks/months in advance ergo brand new eureka & weeds and 4400 in the tv section

special fury goes to the iPlayer on account that i pay for it damn it and they re putting restrictions on content ..... the BBC needs a radical over haul and the question needs to be asked
why should the uk remain the sole operator of a not so inderpent media outlet this is one area where free market forms are needed the way you maintain a free and impartial news agency are by penialisng half ass reporting CC; sky news and mail and tax breaks for popular news papers and stations in return for less advertising time

the area around my house is by the river and i freely admit its the nicest place in the world to look at each morning and with this weather its fantastic so i went for a run this afternoon....

i forgot to post about the regular Wednesday afternoon ice skating session with my (bro in law) Ian ,it went really well and my skating is really improving and he gave me book on conditioning for forwards its really good stuff and i got pair of neon green laces after i snapped mine:( from the hockeystop, that's close to the Altrincham rink,if you go in say hi to Garry and the rest of the staff.nice lot...

am really psyched about going back to jws tomorrow... behind a bar is my third favourite place in the world; right below, on the ice and in front of the bar...

if anyone has any news of jobs am grateful for any and all suggestions or if you can spare time to sit with me in my car while i practice its really appreciated

working
are things that need to be learnt by doing in a safe a responsible manner

Driving is a necessity, not a privilege it should be taught in schools so everyone has the opportunity to learn without having to stump up nearly a grand to get started

Drinking is a social responsibility young people need to be taught the value of moderation
which should be applied for everything

Sex the most natural of urges for a person can't be legislated for
though messing round with people younger then your self is proper odd,
so a 20 and under rule should be enacted similarly to Florida

Marriage a commitment between two people should be open to any one (dumb enough)
who wants to make it over the age of 16 irrespective of faith sex and orientation
side note marriage should be consider a mental health probleam
the complusion to give a way half your stuff isn't normal...you need a pysch evaulation

Voting ; you pay tax?? you should VOTE. you foot the bill you get to pick who s in charge, simple

have waged their own WAD...legislating which mind bending drugs would be legal
and which wouldn't be...all of whom were in no way shape or from swayed by the Billion dollar industries that supply our legal opiates; our Booze cigs and thirteen cups of coffee

no these fine leaders of men decide the best way to deal with people who like crack with their FT and orange juice ...is to lock their ass up....and have their poor decisions taken away from them and have us tax paying suckers pick up the tab

i mean we all do drugs in one form or another we all have different opinions on what constitutes a healthy life style...what gives some one the right to legislate against say Mary Jane and not to legislate against i don't KFC ...

today has a weird feel about it;
kinda of loaded with anticpation
for those that don't know supa sercret activties occured last night
and iam feeling a little ambivanliant;
on the one hand it was fun, it was a proper date with popcorn and dinner and a little ice skating afterwards so a fun night but on the other it felt a little one sided and frankly after the ice skating i should have been rounding second; iam a great skater and it makes my ass look great especial with the skating backwards

on to uni course work; if some one would like to type mine up it would be appricated
as i snaped my usb stick a couple weeks ago and haven't been arsed to retype it agian from my hardcopy notes
am finding the course quite dull which is to be expected and with the impending deadlines iam in need of a little hoilday

formal notice iam not playing hockey with the cobras (till possible next september) or i may switch to another club over at altrincham - or make up my own team sumbit intrest here

in the space of afew days... thinks have gone spectular well..despite a few stumbling blocks...
i ve bought a new car..
arranged a ski trip to the czech repubulic
got all my hockey stuff togeather
been on fire with the ladies..
made some new friends
and hung out with ma pals
beenin skating in the center of manchester .. (lovin it Rita Ginger, and the Girl Scout could use some practice)

and a new pierre cardin jacket
in which i look quite sexy..
